Avtex 2012 Models

Motorhome TV have added the new Avtex W164DRS / L185DRS models to our range. These latest 12v Motorhome TVs from Avtex have two differences to the existing models that will continue to make the Avtex range bigger than ever before. The "S" in the model name signifies the integration of a (DVB-S2) HD FTA Satellite Receiver effectively giving it a Triple Tuning system ( HD Satellite - SD Digital Freeview - Analogue Terrestrial ). The other difference with these two models when comparing to the existing W164DR & L185DR models is in the styling. The L185DRS/W164DRS have a glass front panel as first seen in the largest Avtex Motorhome TV the L215DR launched at the end of the 2011 season.

Satellite TV for Motorhomes

The extra channels available and the high quality reception have contributed significantly to the growing numbers of Campers using a Satellite Dish for TV reception in thier Motorhomes. There many different Satellite TV Dishes for use with Motorhomes, some are portable free standing ones, some are fitted in the roof and manually operated and then there are fitted fully automatic satellite dishes. Avtex AQF431 Automatic Portable Motorhome Satellite Dish

Avtex have introduced a fully automatic portable satellite dish for those with a Motorhome who want the ease and convenience of an automatic satellite dish without the extra cost and holes in the roof of a fitted satellite dish. The Avtex AQF431 being a portable accessory can also be taken from one vehicle to another without having to visit a specialist installer to remove and re-install.
